Loopshot, a Northern Nevada-based corporation, was founded in the Spring of 2000. With almost a decade of experience in Internet and software development on multiple platforms, Loopshot has a strong understanding of current industry standards as well as a firm grasp of next-generation Internet and mobile technologies.
By creating a company that specializes in nothing but the latest in web development, web hosting, and software solutions, Loopshot provides you with much more than just bandwidth and hard drive space. With knowledgeable experts, cutting-edge web development, and world-class facilities, you receive a full-service web presence solution tailored to your specific business needs, all under one roof.
Eric Jennings, a native of Northern Nevada, has been working with technology since his parents bought their first Macintosh 128k in 1985. Being raised through the Internet movement from its earliest BBS days over 1200 baud, on through NCSA Mosaic, AOL, Unix shell programming, Hotline, Perl and PHP web application development, and the broadband revolution—to today with new ventures into mobile and social networking applications; his breadth of scope helps make Loopshot as agile as it is.
Eric earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. He handles software architecture, design, and development at Loopshot. He's worked with all sizes of companies from small incubator startups to 50,000-employee healthcare firms—consulting on software, hardware, network, and integration issues. He's fluent in procedural, object-oriented, functional, and set-based programming languages; has massive respect for the tech greats like Martin Fowler, the Gang of Four, and Joe Armstrong; loves clean, small, elegant code like jQuery and Erlang; and finds the parallels that luminaries like Douglas Hofstadter make between computing and consciousness riveting.
Outside of Loopshot, Eric enjoys producing and performing electronic music, off-roading through the Nevada deserts, and restoring vintage motorcycles.
Originally from Orange County, California, Ashley joined Loopshot after attending graduate school in Seattle, Washington.
Ashley received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Columbia University in New York City. Her eye for design as well as her innate ability to network with the business environment at large makes her a key part of Loopshot's success. Having sales experience while working at the Seattle Times, she now manages the relationships Loopshot has with its customers as well as leads the initiatives in evangelizing Loopshot to Northern Nevada businesses and media.
She has been a lifelong artist with several pieces being commissioned for private sale as well as public display. In her off-time, Ashley paints, draws, sews, upcycles furniture, and sells her works on Etsy.com
Loopshot maintains a superb team of engineers, designers, and usability gurus to help deliver exceptional products. Each of the team members specializes in particular key areas, and thus offers Loopshot an unprecedented amount of skill and speed in developing our products and services.
